Sean Hannity cuts ties with New York, sells his Long Island estate for $12.7 million

The waterfront Oyster Bay property includes a tennis court and par-3 golf course.
After trading New York for Florida earlier this year and declaring "I'm done" with the Empire State, Fox News host Sean Hannity has cut a final tie.
His lavish Oyster Bay estate has sold for $12.7 million, the Wall Street Journal first reported.
Hannity has already moved on. The popular host picked up a 3,800-square-foot townhome in Palm Beach with water views in 2021 for $5.3 million.
"We are now beginning our first broadcast from my new home, and that is in the free state of Florida," Hannity stated on his daily radio show in January. "I am out. I am done. I am finished in New York."
Before his migration south, Hannity had primarily lived in the waterfront estate on Long Island that he purchased for $8.5 million in 2008.
The gated property is located in a tony area of Centre Island and extends nearly 6 acres. Inside his seven-bedroom mansion, there's a home studio from which he would regularly broadcast his shows.
Hannity listed the residence in early May for $13,750,000. The palatial property sparked a bidding war and went under contract within 7 days. It's being sold fully furnished, according to listing agents Shawn Elliott and his son, Zachary Elliott, of Nest Seekers International.
It's "a new record for the fastest home sale over $10 million in the area," the agents say.

The buyer, who's a fan of Hannity, wanted to close in 30 days, adds Shawn. "We do whatever it takes to get the house sold for the most money in the least amount of time with the absolute best terms."
Let's take a look at what the new owner has to look forward to.

The estate boasts nearly 11,000 square feet of "meticulously designed living space," which includes seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms. It sits on nearly 6 acres with 500 feet of bay frontage and an 81-foot private dock.

Landscaped grounds include "lush gardens, manicured lawns, and specimen trees and plantings," the listing notes.
The open floor plan includes a chef's kitchen with a center island and breakfast nook.
For more formal gatherings, there's a separate dining room and multiple sitting areas. The large living room opens to a terrace overlooking the bay.
The primary suite comes with a sitting area, dual walk-in closets, and a spa bathroom with a soaking tub, steam shower, and dual vanities.

The property features a "resort-style" swimming pool, tennis court, and par-3 golf course.
The conservative broadcaster has hosted the Fox News commentary show "Hannity" since 2009. He also hosts "The Sean Hannity Show," a nationally syndicated radio program.
